Lodge Sweatshirts

We are making sweatshirts for sale celebrating the Ballard Elks. They will be ready for Christmas, so remember
your chilly loved ones and get them something warm and
awesome and they’ll thank you for it! We’ll have
a couple different designs which you’ll able to check out
on our Facebook page and at ballardelks.org so be sure to
check those sites for the latest and greatest info. We are
also working on making it possible to order the sweatshirts through our website in the near future but until we
get that up and running, please contact Anthony Gibbs or
Cindy Olsby to order yours today. You can also send an
email to bpoe827@gmail.com and we’ll make sure to get
your order taken care of. In the meantime, here it is!

State Convention

The Ballard Elks is in charge of the hospitality room at the State Convention at the Bellevue Hilton January
19th, 20th and 21st. Our lodge is to decorate and run the room. We have chosen a Viking theme. if anyone
has some Viking or Scandinavian decorations we could borrow for that week it would be wonderful. We
will also need some volunteer bartenders to work 2hour shifts (Mixologist Permit Required). Does anyone
know how to make some Scandinavian food we could serve ??? Everyone is welcome at the
State Convention. It is a great place to meet fellow Elks from around the state, and learn a little more about how things work. If anyone is interested in helping out or maybe have some
good ideas call the lodge and let us know. Thanks and have a great day ! Grims

Veterans Day Observance 2011

Friday November at 6 p.m. with Social Hour from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Lounge.

The menu will feature roast beef, fish, sliced chicken breasts, green beans, baked potatoes and carrot cake. The VFW Post #3063 Women’s Auxiliary will do the cooking.

The dinner will be served Buffet Style. We will have toasts to the different branches of the Military.

There is no charge for the dinner, but donations will be accepted. The proceeds will go to the Veteran’s Committee.

The Halloween Theme is 70′s – 80s.

Come in your best 70′s or 80′s gear (if it still fits). The special guest will be Gus Launch, actually Spinaker’s D.J. We have special guests and a great evening planned.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at $15.00 per person.
