We’re doing the covid catch up on recognizing our members that have done so much over this past year and deserve our thanks
Sara Stevens has worked enthusiastically all year to continue the vital role of investigating our membership candidates despite all the hurdles our Covid restrictions have put upon us. With the closure of the lodge, she was invaluable in getting candidates set up for initiation. Sara set up teleconferencing with her team of investigators, so candidates could still be interviewed. Sara worked with our secretary and came up with an organized system for processing these new candidates.
Sara has been invaluable in keeping the initiation process going smoothly. She worked with our exalted ruler, Sean Reddy, to get out the initiation schedule and orientation videos, then set up a safe area for our new members to get their cards, welcome packets, and sign the constitution down at the lodge after their initiation night. She’s been a great partner to work with on the membership committee and the Committee Chair, Shana Jackson says she “is incredibly grateful to Sara for all the work she does.”

Your efforts and enthusiasm are helping build the energy Ballard needs to come out of this pandemic shining with a great group of new members and is encouraging those around you to have fun and volunteer to help out around the lodge.
