Sunset Bay Lodge is what we call our first-floor waterfront event space that is available for private rentals to the general public, as well as to our members at discounted rates. With breathtaking views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains it is a beautiful and flexible setting ideal for events of all types. It comfortably accommodates anywhere from 75 – 500 guests.
There are two ways to rent this indoor/outdoor event space. The Sunset Banquet Room with its westward-facing point lawn is suitable for many events including celebrations of life, fundraisers, parties, and smaller weddings. It is available at an affordable rate for a waterfront venue (with parking!) because it allows the adjacent Elks Club Room and patio to remain open to our members. For larger weddings, auctions, and galas, a full venue rental includes both adjoining rooms as well the entire patio and the main lawn.
Sunset Bay Lodge rentals require use of exclusive catering partners, with hosted or no-host bar service provided by the Ballard Elks at conveniently built-in bars in each room. Ask us about special rates and options available to registered non-profits for fundraisers!
