The Ballard Elks Lodge #827 offers vocational scholarships to select community youth. The scholarship program includes a $1,000 vocational scholarship for each graduating high school or GED recipient, covering tuition, fees, books, and materials for vocational programs such as nursing, culinary arts, massage therapy, office management and fashion design.

Dorothy Yothers Second Chance Scholarships
The Dorothy Yothers Second Chance Scholarships are open to all – you do not need to be affiliated with the Elks to apply. Open to any woman, 25 years of age or older who is a citizen of the United States and is planning to pursue an eligible Vocational/Technical program in the State of Washington. We are now accepting applications for the 2027 scholarships. The application deadline is May 15, 2027.
